 Course Description

Our Chainsaw course is delivered by a trainer with industry experience, and covers the skills and knowledge required for these 2 x Nationally Recognised units of competency to give an all-rounded learning experience in the safe operations of a Chainsaw.

Participants must be 16 years or over to attend this course.

Participants must be competent in written and spoken English (Students are required to undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy test prior to commencing the training).

Participants must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Participants are recommended (but not compulsory) to hold a First Aid certificate (minimum of Level 2) if using a chainsaw.

Participants are recommended (but not compulsory) to hold their Construction Induction OHS (White) Card if operating a chainsaw.

Participants are required to wear sensible work clothes and steel capped boots, and dress according to the weather for their training.

Participants are required to bring appropriate sun safety protection.

Participants must be physically capable of operating a chainsaw.

Participants must be able to physically kneel on the ground & get back up again.
